Tina Liu
Piano
Tina is a musician, ensemble director and educator with over 17 years of experience in the performing arts. A Bachelor of Music graduate with honours from The University of Queensland, Tina is regularly involved in multiple performance projects whilst upholding her position as Director of Percussion at All Hallows’ School.
Under Tina’s direction, the All Hallows’ Percussion Ensembles and students have received numerous national awards at the Australian Percussion Eisteddfod over the years.
An experienced performer on both percussion and piano, Tina has been featured as solo percussionist with various orchestras in Queensland. Tina has also worked in a number of musical productions and is currently the piano accompanist for QPAC Choir and Lady Cilento Hospital Community Choir.
Tina is passionate about connecting with people through music. In addition to her role as Creative Director of contemporary Percussion Ensemble, Percussimo, Tina is also an internationally trained and experienced rhythm event facilitator who has worked with many different populations engaging and uniting communities and teams.
